Item Description
7.5" and 7" tall pliable vinyl hand puppet pair. Each has 1958 John H. Wilkins Co. copyright with character name marked on back. Jim Henson started making commercials for Wilkins Coffee in 1957, with over 300 produced featuring "Wilkins" and "Wontkins." Wilkins liked the coffee and Wontkins did not. Puppets offered as mail-in premium in 1958. Painted features. Wilkins has a few small paint rubs. VF. Wontkins is Exc. From the Andy Levison Collection.
