22.75x28.25" frame contains art that has been double-matted to 15x20.25". Done in mixed media, this piece recreates the cover to "Superman" No. 24 comic published by DC Comics in Sep./Oct., 1943. Features renowned comic book artist Murphy Anderson's take on the original art by Jack Burnley. Great patriotic pose features Superman standing with hand on hip, holding large American flag. Done in the early 1990s. Exc. Great patriotic Superman image. This recreation was used on the cover to The Official Overstreet Comic Book Companion #11.
