Auction #204 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1446 in auction 204
Item Description
1" with tiny rim hole as issued. Each side has name and date. Luster on both sides is N. Mint. The Lincoln ferro is what DeWitt calls portrait #1 and it is close to perfect with barely visible emulsion sliver off very bottom edge. The Hamiln ferro is quite dark as made, but virtually glossy mint. Each photo is a larger size than what DeWitt/Sullivan lists as AL 1860-89. This variety is noted as their footnote "b". Overall an Exc. example.
