Item Description
4-7/8x7-1/8” sheet filled out entirely in pencil by creator-writer Jerry Siegel with notation for “Star-Spangled Kid (No. 1) 20 Pages $100.00.” The first “Star-Spangled Kid” story appeared in “Action Comics” No. 40 in September, 1941. Voucher is dated “4/25/41” signed in pencil by Siegel and in ink by another hand, also adding check #“1612”. Document has inked notation at lower right, “Ok by JSL.” Exc. Historic and unique. Comes with Hake's COA.
