Item Description
Glossy 8x10" photo shows Johnny Eck, the half-man from Baltimore, MD. who became a cult figure after appearing in Tod Browning's 1932 film "Freaks." He died in 1991 at 79 years of age, his anatomically normal twin brother (see following item #1576) a couple of years afterwards. The twins performed magic shows where the full-body twin would be sawed in half, and Johnny would crawl through the audience, much to their shock. Photo shows Eck balancing on one hand and has been signed in black ink "To Nick Boygas. The Greatest! Sincerely, Johnny Eck. 'King Of The Freaks!'" Exc. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
