Leon Rowe was a native of Kennett Square, PA and an avid collector of political campaign items. A graduate of West Chester State University, Leon taught high school social studies for three decades. In tandem with his wife, Dolores, the pair specialized in postcards and amassed a magnificent collection over the course of nearly four decades. Leon’s passion for political postcards spilled over leading him to amass a bevy of political campaign artifacts of all shapes and sizes. Rowe was a fixture at postcard and APIC political memorabilia shows as he and his wife pursued objects for their ever-growing collections. His affinity for finding the unusual makes his collection an exciting mix of powerful and unique artifacts of American political campaigns.
