Item Description
These along with the previous lot and Mickey and Minnie in our Disney section come from a set of 14 issued by 1930s Philadelphia newspaper. Seven of these have back paper text “World’s Most Famous Comics/Evening Ledger Everyday.” The scarce “Relentless Rudolph” has no paper and “Snuffy Smith” has the back paper variety reading “Listen To Brother Bill/Every Day 6PM/WIP.” Characters are: Babe Bunting, Connie, Dan Dunn, Harold Teen, Bobby Thatcher, Relentless Rudolph, Smitty, Snuffy Smith. All are NM to Mint.
