Auction #185 - Part II
Item numbers 946 through 2530 in auction 185
Item Description
1-9/16" tall die-cut shield with portrait of Lone Ranger at center surrounded by burst design in brass luster contrasting to the brass luster around the outer edge. Badge came post-war c. 1948 with a boxed lasso by company called "Round-Up Products." The badge came with either a pair of tabs on the back or a soldered horizontal bar pin and in this case this piece has the bar pin. Only about the fourth example we've seen and rare as distribution was apparently limited to the Philadelphia area. Overall N. Mint with high gloss.
