Item Description
Real photos with McKinley partially covering Bryan and text "Partial Eclipse Will Be Total In November." Among the best 1900 designs, known in several varieties, but all are rare. This example displays Mint but has two minor defects. First is sliver of 5/8" age stain on top side edge, but not visible at all from the front. Second are several tiny craze lines in cello covering. One over Bryan's nose shows only with magnification. Two on McKinley's cheek, only 1/16" and 1/8", just barely seen in certain angles of reflected light and do not show at all with typical viewing. No backpaper, likely as issued. This design typically shows foxing much more severe than the minor side edge mark on this one. Minor age problems, but displays as glossy and Mint.
