Item Description
Five are 1.25" and larger is 2.25". First button has back paper from Western Badge, Saint Paul. Second has no paper while last four have paper from San Francisco maker Brunt. First for "La Fiesta" is dated for 1907. Second for same event is dated for 1907 as well showing a shriner atop a cartoon camel. The Portola buttons are dated for 1909 and 1913. Next is beautiful button showing a cow promoting the "West Side Fair/1910/Newman, Cal." First we've seen. Last button was issued to commemorate "The Landing Of Sir Francis Drake On Marin Co. Shores." If this is a 350th anniversary button it would date to 1929. Right side may show a little mark but that was dust now removed. Cello is Mint although with some tiny stain and edge tears on the back paper. A beautiful group with all the celluloids NM displaying Mint.
