14x19.25" Type 1 poster for May 24-26, 1968 concerts at the Carousel Ballroom in San Francisco, CA that featured Janis Joplin w/Big Brother & The Holding Company, Clara Ward Singers and H.P. Lovecraft. Art by Crazy Arab features a Dali-esque design of nude woman on carousel pony riding around mystical merry-go-round as children play in bkg. Pin holes at corners/along lower margins w/horizontal crease running entire width of poster above ticket information. Upper right has two areas of surface paper lift, measuring .75x.75" and 1-1/8x1-1/8". Lower left margin has 3/8" tear. VG/Fine. Scarce poster in any condition.
