Item Description
Lot of four concert posters, three from 1966 and one from 1967. 1966 concert posters include -
FD-15, second printing for July 1-3 concerts that featured Daily Flash, Grass Roots and Sopwith Camel. 14.25x20.5". Art by Wes Wilson features photo of jumping man. BG-33 measures 14x20" and has no Union logo and "Printing By West Coast Lithograph Co. SF" notation at right margin. For Oct. 23 concert featuring The Yardbirds and Country Joe & The Fish. Design by John H. Myers incorporated photo image of The Yardbirds. Tiny tear at upper left. Fine/VF. Other posters have some lt. handling wear w/corner bumps and general lt. handling. VF overall. FD-35 is first printing for Nov. 18-19 concerts that featured Daily Flash, Quicksilver Messenger Service and Country Joe & The Fish. 13.75x20". Art by Mouse Studios features patriotic design w/print image of balloon aerialist performing trick suspending from bottom of hot air balloon's basket. Balloon is decorated w/American flags. Exc. overall. FD-56 is second printing for April 7-8, 1967 concerts featuring The Charlatans, Sparrow and Canned Heat. Photo of The Charlatans by Herb Greene, art by George Hunter/Rick Griffin. Right corners have some bumps and upper left margin has small ding. VF overall.
