Item Description
3" tall and 1.25" dia. Wood w/applied paper portrait of TR at top and label reading "For Parker-Nit/Knock Him Out We Want Roosevelt" on front and "The Scientific Toy Co. New Haven Conn. USA" on back that is affixed around the middle. Spring holds the top section in place and no matter how you try to 'Knock Him Out' he stays up. Center label has some minor wrinkling and handling wear but remains complete w/out any losses or chips. Portrait label has a tiny indentation at 3 o'clock. Wood has handling wear consistent w/minor use most notable two scuffs on the extreme outer edge that are visible on front. VG/Fine. Rare. Of the few known to us all have some degree of paper loss. A truly unusual 1904 campaign item that is the finest specimen we have encountered.
