Item Description
30x40" poster features stunning art of Nazi swastika, covered w/three bold paint strokes representing the French flag and the vanquishing of Nazi forces in that country. Wordless graphic was doubtless posted by the American army very soon after the liberation of France. Lower left is marked "U.S.P.F.13." c. 1945. Poster has scattered handling wear w/more moderate creasing along bottom margin/corners. Rolled. Fine overall.
