Item Description
15.25x17.25" wooden frame contains Courvoisier-provided mat (w/small penciled "From 'The Ugly Duckling'" title) w/8x9-3/8" opening revealing hand-inked and painted acetate animation production cel featuring image of mother and father ducks w/four ducklings from the 1939 Silly Symphony. Original Courvoisier set-up over airbrushed Courvoisier bkg. Image area measures 6x8". Back of frame has original Courvoisier label. Father duck has a few tiny spots of paint lifting and bkg. has some minor scattered aging, but still retains a NM display. Jan Wahl Collection.
