Item Description
10.25" tall molded painted composition bank has raised 1941 copyright and Nadine Wenden maker name on back. Patriotic "Junior Minute Man National Defense Bank" label on front denotes World War II use, encouraging saving to purchase war stamps and bonds. Scattered dust soiling and lt. paint wear w/aged label. Fine/VF. We have offered numerous World War II savings banks in the shape of bombs, tanks, ships, etc. over the years, but this is the first we've seen of this style in our 50 years.
