Item Description
22x28" first and only printing poster for Aug. 24 to Sept. 1 and Sept. 3-6, 1970 concerts at Fillmore West in San Francisco, CA. Aug. 24-26 concerts featured Iron Butterfly w/Pinera & Rhino, Aum and Black Oak Arkansas. Aug. 27-29 concerts featured John Mayall, Elvin Bishop and Herbie Hancock Sextet. Aug. 30 to Sept. 1 concerts featured Savoy Brown, Fairport Convention and Chicken Shack. Sept. 3-6 concerts featured Johnny Winter, Boz Scaggs and Freddie King. Poster design by Alton Kelley features design that includes serpent-like creatures and Billy DeVorss pin-up portait at bottom center. Kelley has signed in gold paint pen at bottom right. Some lt. corner tip/margin wear. VF overall.
