Item Description
Pair of 1950s premium prototypes, both clearly marked w/Sears name and designed as store giveaway premiums. "Santa Snapper" measures 5.75x8" and is designed like classic cardboard pop-guns. Front has fully realized mixed media original art showing Santa Claus in sleigh pulled by reindeer. Reverse has penciled "Same Design Repeated Here" text. Some minor loss to white paint lettering at top left, but still legible. VF. Great design. 2.75x4-1/8" booklet has original art cover showing boy holding "Magic Slate" and underside of front cover has pencil original art of Roy Rogers w/his name and non-distinct text. Scattered aging/wear to actual magic slate portion, but o/w VF. Unique pair. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
