Item Description
11x17.5x7" deep wooden case w/glass front over silk-screened wood panel playing area. This features graphic depiction of dogfight over city, showing smoldering wreckage of Japanese, German and Italian warplanes in the street. Unmarked but made by Atlas Games company in 1942. Sides have "Buy Defense Savings Stamps Here" decals. Front has silk-screened "Remember Pearl Harbor" text flanked by "Let's Go U.S.A. - Keep 'Em Flying" designs at left/right. Lock is present on top but no key is provided. Top is unlocked but wood strip inside that lock slides over is incomplete. Interior mechanism including tilt counterweight is complete but coin release plunger needs adjustment. Scattered wear/aging to exterior. Fine overall, but playing area remains bright and clean, Exc.
