Item Description
6.25x8.75" nicely illustrated box w/die-cut lid w/nice graphics of boy wearing helmet. Box contains "A Tarco Toy," Sidney A. Tarrson Company, c. 1950s. Box is evenly aged and has corner tip wear and scattered moisture staining. Lid display has been punched w/.75" tear. Glue repair to 1.25" hinge split. VG/Fine. 6" dia. plastic helmet w/die-cut lightning bolts and flying saucer attachment. These helmets came in different color combinations, this is red/yellow. Flying saucer has thin plastic pinwheel propeller and separate alien spaceman pilot. Saucer and propeller remain free of cracks and helmet is Exc. overall. Classic 1950s space toy.
