Item Description
8.5" long. Listed in Sullivan/Fischer as HC-74 and Hake #3047. Additional text at top "Protection To American Industry." Design at center features an eagle perched on a scroll labeled "The Constitution And The Laws" and clutching a ribbon in its beak w/text "Clay And Frelinghuysen." Faint damp staining throughout most notably just above "Protection" and a spot just left of "Harry" at bottom left. VF. A nice example of this attractive and uncommon ribbon.
