Item Description
Packaging is 2.25x4.25x7" tall overall and includes thin plastic cover. Ingraham, ©1954 Kagran. Box bottom reads "Howdy Doody Wrist Watch - It's New - It Teaches Time." Slot at top of base holds die-cut cardboard display figure of Howdy as Sheriff. Base has some corner tip wear and figure has small crease to hand. Plastic cover has shrunk slightly over the years and as such now fits tightly. Cover has small edge creases and 1" edge split. Packaging is Fine overall. Display holds .75x1-3/8" chrome luster metal watch w/original blue leather bands (also issued w/red bands), which still has original "Howdy Doody - 6.95 Plus Tax" foil price band. Character portraits on dial include Howdy, Clarabell, Princess and Dilly-Dally. Crystal has lightly yellowed w/age but watch is o/w unused, old store stock. Winds but not running and just needs a simple cleaning to run. Case retains full luster, displays NM. High grade, choice condition example. Comes w/watch-specific guarantee/instructions folder w/Howdy portrait.
