Item Description
3.5x5.5" vintage matte postcard depicting 21 individuals posed in full uniform in front of stadium seating with some fans visible in the background. Handwritten note on the back indicates that the photo was taken in New Haven, CT. Widely recognized for being one of the top academic schools in the U.S. for many years, Yale has also produced its share of Major League Baseball players over the years with Ron Darling of the 1980s New York Mets being one of the finest. Postcard exhibits even, moderate wear to the corners along with remnants of scrapbook removal on the divided back, which was never postally used. Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
