Item Description
Original 7.5x9.75" matte finish silver gelatin photo depicting 18 team members in full uniform posed in front of stadium seating w/adoring fans in the background. Handwritten caption at bottom of photo reads "Habana Cuba 10/11/1942 Club Cienfuegos". Standing at far left is star outfielder, Alejandro Crespo, next to him is all-time Cuban great, Silvio Garcia, and kneeling in the front row, third from left, is top outfielder, Pedro Formental. Back has partial "Fotografio Novoa" ink stamp as well as extensive writing in pencil. Margin/corner wear w/crease and a small tip of top right. Some dust soiling and staining but nothing that impacts the team image which has great contrast and clarity. VG.
