7.5x9.5". Signed pension document by "J.C. Calhoun" in black fountain pen ink as Secretary of War. "War Department. Revolutionary Claim. I Certify That, In Conformity With The Law Of The United States, Of 18 March 1818, Libeon Hooker Late A Lieutenant In The Army Of The Revolution, Is Inscribed On The Petition List, Role Of The Massachusetts Agency, At The Rate Of Twenty Dollars Per Month, To Commence On The 13th Day Of March 1818." Back notation indicates first payment to be made on March 14, 1819 and is duly recorded. War Office- United States Of America seal appears at bottom left. Two horizontal and one vertical fold, scattered age and moderate handling. VG. Included w/the document is a 7.5x10.75" engraving of Calhoun. Comes w/Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
