Item Description
6" long inc. brass shell hanger. "Owl Specialty Co. Patterson, NJ." on reverse. The convention aimed to protest against American involvement in WWI and to pressure Congress to place an embargo on war supplies. The Convention culminated in a demonstration on Labor Day Sept. 6, 1915. "Delegate" insert has wrinkling, likely as issued. Tiny hole in field at 1 o'clock on central graphic and a vertical fabric separation in field between the "E and "A" in "Peace" at bottom right. Otherwise a light even fade and minor handling. Fine. Only the second time we have encountered this striking ribbon in our 55 years.
