Item Description
3.5x5-3/8" vintage matte postcard depicting 10 team members in full uniform along with one gentleman dressed in full military attire posed in front of a house with period baseball equipment in the foreground. Back of postcard contains handwritten notation "US 14th Cav Philippines". The combination of baseball along with military personnel always makes for a highly desirable postcard. Image quality of this photograph is superb. Moderate corner wear visible along with slight chipping in a couple of spots around the edges. Unused, divided postcard back remains clean with AZO stamp box dating it to 1904-18, which is consistent with the subject matter pictured. VF. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
