3-3/8x5-3/8" vintage silver gelatin postcard depicting 10 team members in full uniform posed in front of stadium seating. Identification at bottom reads "Fairmont Base Ball Club". Photographer's credit in lower right-hand corner reads "R.C. Anderson Photos, 1781 Geary". The 1910 Fairmont club finished in first place in the Class D West Virginia League with a final record of 37-18 under manager, Louis Hunt. Image quality of the photograph is superb. Minor chipping visible in the lower left-hand corner, lt. foxing visible on blank, divided back. AZO stamp box dates the postcard to 1904-18, which is consistent with the subject matter presented.
