Item Description
1.75" with Baltimore Badge paper which carries their 1901 patent date. Back paper has a excess glued on scrap of paper plus a short cord which may once have held a dangle below the button. A small .25" dia. spot of paper is gone but maker's name a patent are still obvious. The design is the first we've seen in soft multicolors and including a white face clown holding swirling ribbon with text "Fair & Carnival" above barn-like structure and group of horses, cattle, pigs and chickens. Rare and glossy Exc.
