Item Description
Issue #15-17 are copies on 8.5x11" paper sheets. Issues #18 and 19 pages are 6x9" colored paper sheets mounted to 8.5x11" paper sheets w/copy of art for the Amazing Spider-Man (Marvel, 1964) featuring early appearances of The Amazing Spider-Man w/Kraven, Green Goblin, Sandman and more by Steve Ditko that are hand-colored as color guides for the published reprint hard cover Marvel Masterworks books. Lot contains issues #15-19. All five issues are complete 22 story pages and covers. Historic Silver Age Spider-Man storylines by Stan Lee with art by Steve Ditko. Color artist on reprint issues was Andy Yanchus. Paper pages w/"Marvel Masterworks The Amazing Spider-Man" written/stamped at top and marked up w/new color break notations. All five covers haves acetate overlay w/text color. Used in Marvel Masterworks #5 The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 2 (October 1988), that reprinted issues #11-19, Annual #1. Lt. aging/handling wear and overall clean. Overall displays VF. From The Archives of Colorist Andy Yanchus.
