Item Description
4.75x6.5" card is a March of Dimes premium offered in 1943. Card features iconic image of Batman and Robin in spotlight and has facsimile signature "Sincerely, Batman And Robin." Back of card has postcard section that reads "Thanks For Your Contribution To The March Of Dimes To Fight Infantile Paralysis!" This is one of two varieties, a larger version was offered in 1947. Card was filled out and postally issued. .25x.5" chip off top right corner, heavy creasing running horizontally across card. Reverse has glue remnants as was once mounted in scrapbook. VG. Our last example of this card sold for $18,700. Rare.
