While MLJ hero Black Hood dominates the cover, this issue features a sort of sneak peek in the form of an advertisement for Pep Comics #22 (published later that same month), which introduced Archie Andrews to comic readers. This ad is notable as it pre-dates Archie's first appearance in comics. Al Camy cover and art. As for CGC restoration note, this includes "Small Amount Of Color Touch On Cover, Tear Seals To Cover And Centerfold." White pages. One of just 13 copies total in CGC Census. Historic Golden Age Archie-related comic.
