Item Description
14x16.75" artboard has pen and ink original art by Walt Simonson for cover to Shadow Cabinet #0, published by DC Comics as part of their Milestone Comics imprint in Jan. 1994. Launched during Milestone's Shadow War crossover event, this issue (the conclusion of the story arc) marks first full appearance of the Shadow Cabinet and cover shows members Hardware, Xombi, Iron Butterfly, Icon and Rocket, Static, Blitzen and one other. Simonson has signed in white ink at lower left, adding "7-15-93" date. Majority of top margin covered w/strip of white tape w/smaller pieces of clear tape at top corners. Wide left/right margins show some wear w/strip of surface paper loss along upper left margin and two pieces of tape at upper right margin. Back has some inking at lower right corner. Art remains clean and Exc. Walt Simonson original art rarely comes to the market, let alone a cover of this magnitude.
