1.75x7x10.5" hardcover bound volume contains original issues #1 (September 1963) through #20 (September 1965). Marvel. Stan Lee, Larry Lieber, Larry Ivie stories. Covers by Jack Kirby. Art by Dick Ayers, Jack Kirby, Wally Wood, Chic Stone, Paul Reinman, Mike Esposito and George Roussos. Key first appearances of the Avengers team, Baron Zemo, Kang, Wonder Man, Immortus, the Swordsman and more. Issues have been trimmed and bound but covers/pages remain bright and clean. Issue #15 has slt. lower edge mis-cut which can happen when trimmed. 20 complete issues. Spine has gold lettering "The Avengers, Vol. 1". Pages have just lt. even aging and are white to off-white. Lt. handling wear. Fine to VF/NM as bound.
