Item Description
3.75x5.75x2" deep w/lid hinged along the back top edge. The name "Walt Disney" appears once on the lid and once on the side rim. The scene on the lid top is raised up in oval panel about 1/16" above its outer edge. All paint color has been worn off the outer edge of this raised area. In addition, there is a little paint loss on the Mickey and Minnie figures and very lightly scratched below Mickey's shoes is the name "Beate." Mickey and Minnie are seen outside the schoolhouse gate and Minnie is presenting Mickey w/tin designed like this actual tin. There are multiple scenes around the side of the piece and these show only very minor paint wear. Scenes show Mickey and Pluto at a blackboard w/text on the board in Danish, Mickey and Minnie at schoolhouse chairs and desks, a strange-looking character which combines a Pluto head w/body combining elements of both Goofy and Clarabelle. Overall some obvious paint wear but clean and Fine w/charming images. One of a few examples we know of.
