Item Description
1.75". No maker. Nice button design w/bw photo that has blue/red color tinting on his ball cap, as well as blue/red rim text. Rim design includes pair of small stars (some others in this series had small Chief Wahoo rim image). Easter played for the team 1947-55. Lt. trace of oxidation to metal back. Luscious "Luke" Easter also played in the Negro Leagues for the Homestead Grays 1947-48. He was a Negro League All-Star in 1948. He led the Grays to a victory over the Birmingham Black Barons in the 1948 Negro World Series. In 2008, Easter was inducted into the International League Hall of Fame.
