Item Description
From 1955, the first year of the park. This restaurant (also known as Captain Hook's Pirate Ship and as The Chicken Of The Sea Restaurant) was a Disneyland landmark from 1955 until 1982. Striking poster is 24x62". At center are doubloons with text "Pirate Ship/Value Days." Text at bottom reads "Visit The Chicken Of The Sea Pirate Ship Restaurant In Disneyland." At right is image of their trademark mermaid with text "For Smooth Sailing Recipes." At left is pirate ship with the mermaid appearing as the ship's figurehead and on flag. Very minor handling wear as originally folded. Exc.
