Item Description
2-1/8" striking button, only our second seen, with black cat perched on four crisscrossed boards bound by rope to the back of a donkey who carries a liquor bottle in a bucket around his neck. Caption "Hoo Hoo" is printe don the donkey's rear leg. The text on the boards reads "8th Annual Convention Welcome Sep. 9, 1899 Denver, Colo." Complete with W&H backpaper. Button is N. Mint and displays Mint. A rarity in any condition but this is a wonderful example. High gloss.
