Item Description
Lot of 4, approximately 7x9”. c. 1936-44. First has brown and white image with funeral director advertising from McVeytown, PA. Second has color illustration with name below Franklin D. Roosevelt on front. Coattail ad on back with photo of Cliff Townsend for Governor of Indiana. Along with being Governor of Indiana from 1937 to 1941, Townsend was credited with the safety measure of having all school buses painted yellow for instant identification. Third is on wood stick with ad on back for “The New Deal In Food Service/Cash And Carry/Syracuse New York.” Lt. handling creases. Last is illustration with full name “Franklin Delano Roosevelt” below in bright, Deco design. Blank reverse. Conditions range from Fine to VF.
