Item Description
Occupied Japan, c. 1940s. Each is 4” tall with built-in key on left side with wire rods in hands attached to 6.25” dia. wire hoop. Hoops are hand-painted with metal braces. When wound, figures roll around rapidly. Girl’s foot is missing metal bell and small piece of cello where ball came off heel. Trace of lt. dust soil and scattered lt. aging. Overall VF. Nicely matched hand-painted pair. Working.
