Item Description
Large 23x29" proof with margin printer notations for kit #2357. Proof features full-color photo images of the 1968 Colorforms Aliens action figures. First series was comprised of seven poseable figures with interior wire frames. While a second series of six was developed, it was never put into production. Proof shows nine figures. Shown from the first series are - Alpha 7 The Man From Mars, Astro Nautalis The Man From Neptune and Commander Comet The Man From Venus. Shown from series two are Cyclops Giant From Beyond The Milky Way, Gamma-X The Man From The 4th Dimension, Gemini The Man From Twin Star Algol, Inferno The Flame Man Of Mercury, Metamorpho The Man From Alpha Centauri and Mystron The Man From Hollow Earth. "Space Warriors" brand name as the Colorform Aliens came to be known, blatently used "Star Wars" logo font. Folded horizontally and vertically. Scattered handling wear with staple holes at left and right margins. Separate 3.5x4.5" paper attached with logo coloring notations. Scattered production notations surround art. .5x.75" piece missing from bottom right-hand corner. Fine. Awesome piece to frame. From the Colorforms Archives.
