Item Description
Designed by James B. Longacre this example is truly spectacular. Not only is this a wonderful proof coin, but it is also from the famed Richmond Collection. The collection is considered to be one of the greatest U.S. coin collections ever assembled. The collection comprised a near complete set of U.S. coins from 1839 to 1955 with well over 3,600 total. The color is a superb chestnut brown. Every detail is razor sharp in strike and displays very nicely.
