Item Description
8-5/8x12" sheet has 5.75x9-5/8" lead and red pencil image area. Wonderful scene shows happy ugly duckling sailing away on the back of his swan mother and clucking at startled mother duck on shore who has four angry ducklings nearby. Lower left corner has a few very faint light blue pencil marks, otherwise image area will mat and frame to near Exc. appearance. The 1939 Ugly Duckling short was the last entry in the Silly Symphony series and won the Academy Award for Best Short Subject.
