Blue velvet ring box holds adult size 10 ring with face of Spider-man in the oval shaped top. Interior is marked "14K" and has raised plate with text "Marvel Ent © 1993." One side of ring has impressed initials "FX" while other side has date "93." This ring comes with 3x3.75" certificate ink signed by the two issuers and designating "This Gold Spiderman Ring Is #7 of 12." Additional text on the paper reads "Certificate Of Authenticity/This Spiderman Ring Was Specially Created By Planet Studios Exclusively For The 1993 Florida Extravaganza." This was a collectibles oriented show. Certificate is folded to fit in the box and has a couple of minor creases but the ring itself is Mint as issued. Whe have additional information from the consignor. It is correct that 12 of these were made in 14K gold. However, due to a legal dispute with the copyright holder Marvel Comics only seven rings went to collectors while the remaining five were turned over to Marvel to avoid litigation.  Rare.
