Bottom margin has bold ink inscription “ Very Best To Frank Grundeen, the Mayor of Duckville- Floyd Gottfredson”. “Duckville” is what the Disney comic strip dept. called Duckberg before the 1970s. It was Duckburg from 1944 on in comic books. Art has applied zipatone dot pattern shading which has tanned as typical over the years, otherwise art is Exc. A superb example and unique special gift to Grundeen (1967-1976 Donald Duck comic strip artist) by Disney’s top comic strip artist who did the Mickey comic strip from May 5, 1930 until he retired in 1975.
