Item Description
Original cardboard box w/photo illustrated lid contains 7.25" tall plastic wind-up of Aian (Iron), from the Japanese tokusatsu sci-fi/kaiju/superhero TV series, "Mirrorman," which was produced by Tsuburaya Productions (of "Ultraman" fame), airing on Fuji TV from Dec. 5, 1971 to Nov. 26, 1972. Aian, or Iron as he's known amongst American audiences, was the first Kaiju Mirrorman ever fought, and is probably his most iconic foe. Figure has built-in key in side and on/off switch on chest. Made in Japan by Yonezawa, this is #323. Figure has some lt. dust soiling and paint wear to tips of claws. On/off switch no longer moves up and down as designed, however by pulling it straight out, toy will move forward for a short distance as sparks shoot out from his mouth. Fine overall, but still nice for display. Box features Mirrorman sticker and shows moderate handling wear w/several creases, box bottom having 2" edge split and concave end panel. VG.
