Item Description
First is a 7/8" sepia toned real photo with stickpin back. Second is 1.25" real photo button that reads "John Mitchell Prest. United Mine Workers Of America" and "Labor Editor Boyce's Weekly". William D. Boyce was among other things the founder of the Boy Scouts and a newspaper man. 'Boyce's Weekly' was an international publication and was only printed in 1903 before being consolidated into the 'Saturday Blade' after 8 months. Surface wear seen in reflected light worst of which is a .25" hairline scratch at center. Also a small edge stain barely visible on front at 8 o'clock. VF/Exc.
