8.5x17x1.5" deep cardboard box has nice specialty art on lid by creator Fontaine Fox showing the Skipper steering Trolley as people race to catch it. Powerful Katrinka looks on from hill as Mickey McGuire smokes cigar. Milton Bradley #4838. 1927. Lid has color rubs at edges w/one corner split and a few tiny bits of missing paper at corners. VG/Fine. Instructions are printed on lid interior. 16.25x16.25" gameboard has trolley track design around village w/character houses/images including those shown on lid as well as "Aunt Eppie Hogg, Suitcase Simpson, Tomboy Taylor, Stinky Davis, The Terrible Tempered Mr. Bang, Little Stanley" w/"The Little Scorpions" clubhouse in center. Comes w/nine die-cut thin cardboard playing pieces featuring Toonerville characters ranging in size from 1.5" tall to 2.5" tall w/each inserted into wood bases. Also has small pair of dice and two wood dice containers. Board and playing pieces have trace of lt. aging but overall VF. Classic game w/choice graphics.
