BICYCLE BUTTON 1896 WITH SPRING CLIP REVERSE.
Front displays like typical 7/8” celluloid covered advertising button and, in fact, has W&H 1896 back paper but rather than a spring pin, back holds 5/8” small clip with spring that opens and closed the end intended to grip something. First example we’ve seen. Front shows bicycle name plate inscribed “The M***H/Snellenburg, Phila.” Surrounding text “The Best Points Of The Best Wheels/Snellenburg’s M***H.” Rare and NM, displaying Mint.
