Item Description
Flattened diecut 4x12" matching cardboard rwb outer panels stapled once at each end to an inner webbing of rwb crepe paper to form crown when opened and placed on the head. Opened appearance is thus somewhat of a patriotic tricorn hat. Image on both panels is same of Willie Wiredhand, although not identified, as marching Revolutionary War minuteman to illustrate slogan "Stand Your Ground" as part of rural electric co-op promotion program "Minutemen For Rural Electrification." Obvious premium for youngsters of parents interested in rural electrification c. late 1940s-1950s. One side panel is missing flake of cover paper at one end o/w likely unused. Clean and VF.
